Commonly Asked Questions about our Memberships

What do I get?

• With your monthly membership dues, you will enjoy either The One Hour Massage with aromatherapy and complementary Add-On or Upgrade or The One Hour Facial.

Can I upgrade to a 90-minute massage? 

• You can upgrade your 60-minute massage to a 90-minute massage for $60 (with add-on or upgrade)

Can I swap my massage for a different service?

• You cannot swap it for different services, but you can get 10% (ILM Membership or 15% (Day Spa Membership) off any other service.

What happens if I can’t use my membership credit for that billed month?

• Unused monthly membership treatments may “roll over” into the following (60) day period. Each rollover membership treatment expires (90) days in total after the membership fee has been charged. You may extend your expiring “rollover” service an additional (30) days by paying a $10 fee. 

What if I have to cancel my appointment?

• Coastal Massage & Spa continues to adhere to an Appointment Cancellation Policy. We kindly ask that you provide us with a 24-hour cancellation notice to avoid any late cancellation or no-show fees. If you have a member credit on file, it will be used to cover the cancellation fee. Cancellations adhering to our cancellation policy will not be subject to any fees and member credits will still be available for future use. 

Can I transfer my membership credit to a friend or family member?

• Memberships, benefits, and complimentary services are non-transferable and non-refundable.  

Is my credit card on file safe?

• Your credit card and email address is required for participation in our Membership Program. Your credit card will remain securely on file and will be charged on the same date each month (monthly due date) for the amount recorded. Please note, our secure system only allows us to see the last 4-digits of your credit card number.

What if I need to ‘freeze’ my  membership?

• You can freeze your membership for up to 3 months. 
• Members can redeem accumulated services during a freeze for $15 per accrued benefit but cannot utilize any additional membership benefits (i.e. discounted services, retail discounts, guest passes)
• Membership will automatically reactivate after 3 months.

What if I need to cancel my membership?

• ILM Massage Memberships require a minimum commitment of 12 months.
• If you’d like to cancel your membership within the first 12 months, you’ll be charged a $100 early cancellation fee.
• Thirty (30) days written notice is required for membership termination. Cancellation notice must be signed by all parties associated with the membership. 
• You will have 30 days after your cancellation date to use any accrued membership credits.
