  • Bertie, LMBT Bertie, LMBT

    Bertie has practiced her dream job of massage therapy since 2003. Her modalities include deep tissue, trigger point, cupping, geriatric and infant massage, Reflexology and more.

    Originally from Ohio, she has practiced in three states. Bertie and her husband moved to the Wilmington area in 2019. Hobbies include spending time with family and anything outdoors.

  • J'Licca, LMBT J'Licca, LMBT

    J’Licca has been practicing massage since 2014. She has many talents, and is often complimented on her ability to  “listen” to her clients bodies and decipher what they need.  She enjoys doing a wide range of techniques from Swedish to deep tissue massage

  • Jaime, LMBT Jaime, LMBT

    Jaime received her massage therapist degree at Miller-Motte in 2006 and has been with Coastal Massage and Spa since 2014. She uses her vast knowledge of anatomy to help her clients not only understand where the pain is coming from but also to help develop a plan on how to relieve it. Using both deep tissue and therapeutic techniques, if there is a sore spot she will find it! Jaime is also trained in sinus, oncology and manual lymph drainage massage. Clients who are going through chemotherapy, or have had lymph nodes removed, need extra considerations when receiving a massage and Jaime excels in this area.

    When not working, she loves to hang out with her daughter and her dogs. She loves to read and crochet too!

  • Jen, LMBT Jen, LMBT

    Jen graduated from the College of Wilmington and has been a Massage Therapist since 2014. Joining CMS in July 2018, Jen is our lead Massage Therapist! She is known for giving ‘intuitive’ therapeutic massages. Being attuned with her clients help her identify areas they might need more work done, even if they are unaware there was tension there! The reward of giving her clients an improved quality of life is the main reason she loves massage! She is proficient in prenatal, therapeutic, hot stone, Swedish, orthopedic, facial lymphatics, deep tissue, reflexology, cupping and myofascial release. In addition, Jen loves to do body scrubs and body wraps! 

  • Amanda, LMBT Amanda, LMBT

    Amanda went to Gwinnett college (formerly the medical arts school) in Raleigh NC. She’s been practicing for 10 years and her favorite style of massage is relaxing Swedish/trigger point combo. Which she believes is very effective!! The best self-care advice she could give would be stretching and cold compress to muscles, joints, tendons, and ligaments. Inflammation causes many issues that can be prevented with ice therapy!!

  • Tammie, LMBT Tammie, LMBT

    Tammie went to Soothing Arts and Massage in Florida and has been practicing since 2005. She specializes in a wide range of modalities. She has certifications in Lymphatic Drainage, and Trager massage. She is also experienced in chakra balancing massage, reiki, cupping, deep tissue, myofascial release, and prenatal massage. She loves to incorporate positive energy into all of her massages.

    Her hobbies include gardening, working out, kayaking, darts, travel and shopping!

  • Ashley, LMBT Ashley, LMBT

    Ashley went to Miller Motte College and has been practicing for 11 years. She enjoys doing Swedish and therapeutic massage but reflexology is her favorite!
    Her advice for clients: “Be open with your therapist and make sure you’re on the same page beginning to end. Let your therapist know exactly what your needs are, and if you’re in pain or if the pressure is not enough. Communication is key!”

  • Jessika, LMBT Jessika, LMBT

    Jessika graduated from Miller-Motte College and has been practicing massage for over 17 years. She enjoys giving therapeutic/customized massages and feels they have the best benefit for the body. She likes to combine swedish with deep tissue and sports massage. She likes doing slow, firm, rhythmic motions combined with specific focuses to alleviate pain. Jessika is also trained in prenatal massage and reflexology. 

    Jessika’s advice is to always remember to breathe! Deep breaths will aid you during your massage and assist in relaxation. 

    Jessika enjoys traveling and has  been to the Dominican Republic, Caribbean, and Bali. She hopes to continue traveling in the near future!

    Makenzie recently graduated from the College of Wilmington. Although, she is new to massage, she has the intuition of a seasoned therapist. She is experienced in hot stone, aromatherapy and Swedish massage.  Makenzie loves to paint and do yoga and spend time with her cat.

    NEW THERAPIST!

    Ricardo has been a licensed massage therapist since 2015. Having over 1,000 hours of schooling, he specializes in trigger point therapy, deep tissue and therapeutic massage. His goal is to rebalance your body with just the right pressure.

  • Taylor, LMBT Taylor, LMBT

    NEW THERAPIST!

    Taylor is a newly licensed therapist working at Coastal Massage and Spa! She studied and graduated from Institute for massage and Bodywork Therapy in Fayetteville this past August and obtained her license shortly after. She would describe herself as medium to firm pressure therapist. She likes to do a mixture of relaxation with notes of therapeutic massage. She plans on growing and expanding her knowledge into more modalities as she settles into her career.

    On a more personal note, Taylor grew up in the Southport/Oak Island area and was a competition dancer for 14 years. In her free time, she likes spending time with her family, fiancé, and listening to music.

  • Jasmine, LMBT Jasmine, LMBT

    Jasmine received her massage therapy and bodywork license in 2011 after graduating summa cum laude from Miller-Motte College. With over a decade of hands-on experience Jasmine has provided thousands with physical therapeutic relief, but it’s the mental and emotional wellness that one can attain through massage that really lights her soul on fire! Like her personality Jasmine’s technique is calm, steady, and thorough. Her main goals are to provide a safe and comfortable environment for ALL bodies, bringing body awareness to the forefront and remind her clients that slowing down is beneficial to their overall health and wellbeing.
    Fun Facts:
    1. Jasmine and her partner Aaron enjoy taking their feisty feline to local coffee shops.
    2. She’ll never turn down a donut from The Donut Inn.
    3. Loves herself some trashy reality TV!

  • Micki, LMBT Micki, LMBT

    When Micki moved to Wilmington in 2014, she left behind a career in nutrition and food safety to begin an “encore” career in massage therapy.

    She graduated in 2015 from the College of Wilmington and has enjoyed meeting new people and learning new techniques every year since. Micki has witnessed how massage therapy can benefit the mind, body, and soul and is an advocate of holistic health. Her favorite style of massage blends Swedish relaxation techniques with heat and myofacial release. Micki has a passion for creating works using fabrics and yarn.

    She likes to travel, and she shares her life with her husband, 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and numerous fur babies, the latest being an energetic Border Collie she calls her “exercise buddy”.

  • Nick, LMBT Nick, LMBT

    Nick, a graduate of College of Wilmington, has been an LMBT for 5 years and specializes in therapeutic and sports massage. Anytime a client can leave feeling better than when they arrived, he feels accomplished. A client who has site specific work that needs to be done will always find relief through his work.

    Nick’s modalities will be expanding in the near future to offer a wider array of techniques.

    While Nick isn’t working he is usually reading books ( a lot of books), playing with his cats, or playing table top games.

  • Susan, Esthetician Susan, Esthetician

    Susan graduated from CFCC in 2013 with a degree in Esthetics and has been with CMS since 2018. She has always had a love for skincare and make-up, and once her children went away to school she decided to pursue her passion. Susan is well known for her facial massages during treatments. She does a combination effleurage with pressure point work around the eyes and nasal cavity. She loves waxing, especially eyebrows! 

    Fun facts:  She was a trick water skier and can still do most of the tricks when given the chance. 

  • Elizabeth, Esthetician Elizabeth, Esthetician

    Elizabeth’s passion for skin care has elevated her to an experienced esthetician despite only graduating in 2019 from CFCC. Her bubbly personality puts her clients at ease, and attention to detail leaves her clients feeling better than when they walked in! She specializes in Brow illumination. Who doesn’t love a good brow?!

  • Joanna, Esthetician Joanna, Esthetician

    In 2016, Joanna graduated from CFCC with a degree in Esthetics and joined CMS in 2018. After finding solutions to her own skincare concerns through regular facials, Joanna wanted to help others experiencing similar problems. As well as her love for make-up, it was an easy career choice for her. She now enjoys helping her clients achieve their optimal skincare.  She is proficient with hydrafacials and body treatments.

    *Hobbies: as a former professional ballerina her love for dance has maintained. She wants to take ballroom and Latin dance classes! She also loves her two golden retrievers. Traveling is another passion: she loved Italy, and really wants to explore Singapore or Australia next! And speaks 3 languages! 

  • Grace, Esthetician Grace, Esthetician

    Grace attended the Denver School of Botanical & Medical Aesthetics in 2016. Following a 3 month internship at a spa in downtown Denver, she received her Esthetician License in 2017. Grace found her way to esthetics through her passions for healing modalities and science education.

    She has an affinity for client education, as well as facial massage and acne treatments. Since moving to Wilmington in 2019, she has enjoyed learning how different climates affect skin care! For fun Grace loves doing crossword puzzles, baking and dancing to Patsy Cline!
